Well, yesterday I went to the doctor for the first time. I did bloodwork (I'm still bruised from the needle), found out how far along I am, and my due date. I am 8 weeks along and June 18, 2009 is when this little baby will be entering into the world. (or around that time). Willie is totally excited because that's the day after his birthday.Well, just wanted to give everyone an update. Hope all is well with everyone.Until next time...
Ok, so on the blogger again.
I've been completely busy for the past month and a half, almost two months and it's time to get started on my blogs again. School is going great and I'm having a blast. It's so much fun helping children that need it and challenging the ones that are too smart for their britches. I get the occasional bad day every once in a while, but other than that, my kids are great and they actually listen to me.
I got to see my sister this past weekend, and it seems like it's been forever since I've seen her. One of her and Fausto's friend got married this past weekend, so they were down for that. Willie and I went to Spur for Homecoming. It was fun. I got to meet some of his high school friends and hang out and hear some of the stories about my husband. We went to Denver City Saturday night and hung out with Mom, Dad, and Kylar (he didn't go to the wedding).
Well, Saturday night changed the rest of mine and Willie's life forever!!! We found out that we are expecting a baby in June (or around that time). We are totally excited, and I'm surprised about the reaction that we got from Mom and Dad. They were excited!!!
This afternoon at school, I received flowers from Willie telling me he was thinking about me. What a wonderful husband!!!! I'm excited, nervous, and scared all at the same time wondering what's going to happen in the near future.
Well, it's time for bed....
Let me start by apologizing for not posting a blog in I don't know how long. I'm so sorry. For the past two weeks, I have had in-service for the start of the new school year. Talk about tired and overwhelming. I don't think I have had so much information put into my brain at one time as I've had these past two weeks. But I'm doing better now...well, nervous now. We start school on Monday and talk about first year teacher nerves. I have them, bad. Everyone that I talk to says that it will be fine and I'll be a great 3rd grade teacher, but I'm starting to doubt myself. I hope that I can do this.We finally got everything moved into the new house and we have just now got everything unpacked. There are a couple of boxes still, but not enough to worry about. They are mostly Willie's stuff that need to go in the storage, just not enough time to get it done. We are enjoying the new house: 1. it's bigger, 2. it's not even 2 minutes from the school, 3. it takes Willie about 10 minutes to get to work. He gets to sleep in an hour and 15 minutes later. That's exciting for him.Well, I'll try to get better at this, but no promises. So, until next time...
So, this past week I have been in Lamesa getting my room ready for school to start. I never thought how crazy it really is to get it ready. I can't believe school is going to start in less than a month. I was suppose to go to Lamesa and work in my classroom on Monday, but Sunday night I made a trip to the emergency room. The doctor thinks I passed a kidney stone. I was hurting like crazy. So...Willie stayed home with me on Monday and then was off the next couple of days. On Tuesday we went to Lamesa and started on my room. Thank goodness I had him with me. He helped me out so much....Thanks baby.Me and Mom came to Dallas on Friday morning. Lauren, one of my best friends, got married today and I read verses in the wedding. It is nice being here and I love hanging out with my family, but I miss my husband. He had to work this weekend and the rodeo was in Ralls this weekend so he didn't want to come. It's going to be nice getting home and sleeping with him in our own bed. Oh, and by the way, James and Kellie......that's just mean!!!!! I had fun this weekend!!!I start New Teacher Orientation on Monday. Kind of nervous, but excited and ready to start. I get my first paycheck on the 28th!!! That's really exciting!! I do something for school every day of the month starting on Monday. We found a house in Lamesa and hopefully we are going to be able to move in this coming weekend. That's going to be a long process it seems. So, until next time...
Well, Willie and I have been married since May 31st. Only 50 days into our marriage and I think that we need a blog just like my sister, my 2 cousins, and some family friends. Even though we don't have a child yet, (which that seems to be the case with everyone) I hope that you will still read and let this blog answer any questions that you might have.My wonderful husband, Willie, is currently (literally) working at the prison in Lamesa....yes, I said working, not IN. He is hoping to either make Sergent there or get on with DPS sometime in the future. I'm behind him either way he wants to go. He is working four days on, four days off, and is able to carpool instead of driving everyday. My husband fought for his country in Iraq and was stationed at Ft. Hood near Killeen. He got out of the Army in October of 2007 and moved back to West Texas where now is with his family and friends. I am very proud of my husband for all that he has done for his country and I am so grateful that he is back in the States safe with his family. Then there's me....Paige Nicole Kelso (Littlefield). I graduated from Texas Tech in May 2008. I thought that day would never get here, and now it's pasted. I have a job at Lamesa North Elementary and will start New Teacher Orientation on August 4th. That's not very far away. We are in the process of finding a place in Lamesa and moving there since we both work there. Hopefully the moving will happen at the beginning of August and I won't have to drive very many days. Right now, I am working a summer job at the daycare where my nephew, Kylar, went to. If you ever need a great daycare, try Starting Small....they are an amazing group of people and teachers. I have an amazing husband, two amazing parents, a best friend (sister), and awesome grandparents in my life along with all of my other family, including cousins, aunts, uncles and the in-laws. We have an amazing group of people in our lives and love every single one of them. So, until next time....
